Evan and I recently started laying the groundwork for our new blues/jazz combo, “Preston and the 57s”, which will feature originals like this, plus some old faves. We will be adding another guitarist, a standup bass and a drummer when we record the CD this spring.

Recently I had the opportunity to reunite with some friends I had not seen in some 30 years at my high school reunion. A wonderful event in my life that inspired this song, which I dedicate to my beloved friends (and family too!)

From the July 16th 2009 Benefit for Sick Kids and Children’s Aid Foundations at the Gladstone Ballroom, Toronto, ON. What a great evening it was! We will shortly be releasing a highlight show. With 15 performers and a 4 hour show (and with most people staying the whole evening) we have a lot of footage to go through!
