Evan and I recently started laying the groundwork for our new blues/jazz combo, “Preston and the 57s”, which will feature originals like this, plus some old faves. We will be adding another guitarist, a standup bass and a drummer when we record the CD this spring.

Recently I had the opportunity to reunite with some friends I had not seen in some 30 years at my high school reunion. A wonderful event in my life that inspired this song, which I dedicate to my beloved friends (and family too!)

From the July 16th 2009 Benefit for Sick Kids and Children’s Aid Foundations at the Gladstone Ballroom, Toronto, ON. What a great evening it was! We will shortly be releasing a highlight show. With 15 performers and a 4 hour show (and with most people staying the whole evening) we have a lot of footage to go through! In the meantime, this is the first of several you’ll see on my page, and there will be some more videos coming from some of my all-star line up that night! Featured in this video are Mark N.
